How To Set Up Notifications To Members When They Are Mentioned (FlowMail)

💡 Shopify navigation update: Manage this Tevello notification automation in Shopify Flow. If Flow isn't installed on your store, install Shopify Flow before following the steps below.

Overview:

Automatically notify members via email when they are mentioned in a post or comment using Shopify Flow and an email app (e.g., Flow Mail).

💡 Shortcut: Open the Send an email notification to a member when they are mentioned in a comment or post and continue from Step 4.

Steps:

Open Shopify Flow. In your Shopify admin, go to Apps and select Flow.

Click Browse templates.

In the search field, enter FlowMail Notification. Select the template titled Send an Email Notification to a member when they are mentioned in a comment or post.

Click Install in the upper-right corner.

Customize the email notification. Click the transactional email step to open its settings.

Update the variables on the Subject, reply to and the content when needed.

Activate the Workflow. After all modifications, click “Turn on workflow.”
