How To Reset A Member's Password
Overview:
To guide administrators on how to manually reset a member's password in Shopify, which can be useful for assisting members who encounter issues with the self-service password reset feature.
IMPORTANT:
Ensure you communicate the new password securely to the member to prevent unauthorized access.
Verify the member’s email address in their profile to ensure they can receive any necessary follow-up communication.
Steps:
Navigate to Members Section: Access the Members area.
Select the Member whom password needs to be reset.
Click on More Actions at the top of the member's profile page then select Reset Password from the dropdown menu.
Set New Password Enter a new password for the member (ensure you create a strong and secure password in actual scenarios) then click Save to apply the new password.
