How To Automatically Tag a Member When They Completed a Course

Overview:

This SOP outlines how to automatically tag Shopify members who complete a course, utilizing Shopify Flow to automate the process efficiently.

Prerequisites:
Access to Shopify Flow app. If not already installed, download it from the Shopify App Store. CLICK HERE
Template provided for automating course completion tags. LINK to Template

Steps:

Navigate to Shopify Flow in your Shopify admin. If you haven't installed Shopify Flow, download and install it from the Shopify App Store.

Access to Shopify Flow app. If not already installed, download it from the Shopify App Store. CLICK HERE

Install Template: Open the template link HERE

What the template looks like.


Click "Install" at the top right corner.


Then "Install" again to confirm.

IMPORTANT: Ensure you are logged into the correct Shopify store when installing the template.

Review and Customize the Workflow.


Activate the Workflow: If the pre-configured settings meet your needs, activate the workflow by clicking Turn on Workflow.


Verify activation by cliking Turn on again

Additional Notes:

Ensure the workflow functions as intended by completing a course under a test member profile and checking if the tag is applied correctly.
You may add additional actions or conditions to the workflow to suit more complex requirements or specific business rules.
