Placing a test order in your store is an essential step to ensure that the purchasing process works smoothly for your customers. This guide will walk you through creating a discount code to make the test order total zero, allowing you to test the entire checkout process without actual payment.

How To Create Discount Code

Go to the Discounts section in your store's admin panel.



Click on the Create Discount button.



Select Amount Off Order.



Generate ramdom code in the Amount Off Order section
* The method should be Discount Code
* Then Click on the Generate random code link
* Copy the code



In the discount Value Section, in the percentage box, type in 100 and select Both for Purchase Type



Make sure to click on the Limit the number of times this discount can be used in total then type in the number of times you want to use the discount code in the box.



Save the discount settings to activate the code.

How To Place a Test Order

Go to your store and select the product you want to purchase.



Apply the Discount Code: Input the discount code in the designated field and click Apply.



Verify Details
Ensure the order total is reduced to zero.
Enter Email Address
Fill in billing details. Then click Complete Order.



Follow any post-purchase prompts to activate a customer account.



If the product includes access to courses or communities, verify that these are accessible after purchase.
