# How To Make A Member A Moderator

#### Overview:
This SOP details the process of granting moderator privileges to a member within your Shopify community or course, enabling them to manage posts and comments effectively.

#### Steps:

1.  **Navigate to Members Section:** Access the** Members area**.

2. **Select the Member** whom you wish to designate as a moderator.

3. On the right side, click on **Make Moderator** to assign the role to the selected member.
