# How To Delete A Member

#### Overview:
To provide a clear procedure for deleting a member from the Shopify platform.

| IMPORTANT:
* Ensure you have selected the correct member before confirming deletion, as this action is irreversible.
* It's recommended to double-check the member's activity and details to avoid accidental deletion of active or important profiles.
* Consider archiving or exporting member data before deletion if historical records are needed. Regularly review your member list to maintain an accurate and up-to-date database.

#### Steps:

1. **Navigate to Members Section:** Access the **Members** **area**.

2. **Select the Member profile** you intend to delete. Use *"John Doe"* as an example.

3. Click on **More Actions** then select **Delete Member** from the dropdown options.

4. **Confirm Deletion:** A prompt will appear asking for confirmation to proceed with the deletion. Click **Delete Member** to confirm and permanently remove the member’s profile.
