# How to Add HTML to a Lesson and Customize the Members Area with CSS

Add custom HTML content to a lesson or use CSS to change the appearance of your Tevello members area.

# Customize Lesson

1. Go to the Tevello app and select **Courses**.

2. Select the course where you want to add the code.

3. Select a **lesson or create a new one.**

4. In the lesson, click on the **Add** button, from the dropdown menu, click on **Add HTML.**

5. In the HTML box, add the code.

6. Click on **Save**.

# Customize Courses

1. Go to the Tevello app then select **Settings**.

2. Under **Design**, you will see **Custom CSS**, paste the CSS code.

3. Click on **Save**.

| It usually takes about a minute or two to update since Shopify caches the custom CSS.
